Story

*Lost Planet 3* is set on the frozen planet of E.D.N. III, where players take on the role of Jim Peyton, a rig pilot working for the NEVEC corporation. Sent to the planet to extract resources, Jim soon finds himself facing far greater challenges. As Jim struggles to survive in this icy world, he uncovers hidden secrets about the planet and the corporation he works for. The game focuses on survival in a harsh environment while facing off against massive creatures known as Akrid.

Gameplay

*Lost Planet 3* combines third-person combat with exploration in an open world. Players must manage vital resources like thermal energy to survive the planet's extreme cold. The game offers a mix of battling large Akrid creatures and completing exploration missions across the planet’s different environments. In addition to direct combat with weapons, players can also pilot large utility rigs to help complete missions and protect themselves.
